Weidong Xu has more than a decade of structural design work experience in Tongji Architectural Design (Group) Co., Ltd. In 2012, he was chosen as an exceptional young employee and sent to the Manhattan headquarters of DeSimone Consulting Engineers to train for four months. He joined TIANHUA in 2017. He has executed more than 100 public construction and residential projects, including super high-rise offices, hotels, stadiums, theaters, convention centers, museums, hospitals, and urban complexes. Many projects have received awards. He has also published essays in multiple major national journals and participated in the revision for industry and local standards; Over the years he has presided over three company research and development projects and participated in two provincial and ministerial projects and six enterprise projects; In addition to conventional structural design, he has extensive structural design and management experience in special technical fields such as precast concrete and prestressed structures.
