Prior to obtaining a Master’s Degree at Australian National University and transitioning to management, Li Chen was a HVAC design engineer at Shanghai AJ Architect & Engineer Ltd. He also served as the deputy general manager of Shanghai Tianchuang Trade Development, CEO assistant of Shanghai Aibang Real Estate Investment, and senior business development manager of IMC Octave (Singapore) Real Estate Development. The latter two are associated with IMCPAA Group. During his time at IMCPAA, he executed the land equity transfer transaction of Shanghai Tongshan Street plot (now Vanke Emerald Riverside), the investment management of Qingdao HNA IMC Center and IMC International Shipping Building in Dalian Bonded Zone, the renovation investment management of IMC Building in Kuala Lumpur, and the investment management of IMCPAA land development in Vietnam and Indonesia. He joined Shanghai TIANHUA in August 2010.
